Pub Med

This is an online database of almost every scholarly article published. It is maintained by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health.

International Journal of Radiation Oncology•Biology•Physics

Also called the Red Journal, this is the official clinical research publication of the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the organization that produces this website, www.rtanswers.org. The Red Journal offers authoritative articles linking new research and technologies to clinical applications. Original contributions by leading scientists and researchers include experimental studies of combined modality treatment, tumor sensitization and normal tissue protection, molecular radiation biology, particle irradiation, brachytherapy, treatment planning, tumor biology and clinical investigations of cancer treatment that include radiation therapy.

Practical Radiation Oncology

Practical Radiation Oncology (PRO) is ASTRO's official clinical practice journal. PRO's purpose is to document the state of current practice, providing background for those in training and continuing education for practitioners, through discussion and illustration of new techniques, publication of treatment guidelines, evaluation of current practices and publication of case reports. PRO strives to provide its readers content that emphasizes knowledge "with a purpose".
